Sylvia HEUSCH Mattin
Born in Barcelona, Spain in May 13, 1927. Moved to New York and married Henry
L. Mattin; Jan. 30, 1927 – Nov. 29, 1961 (son of Harry E. Mattin 1896 – June 17, 1988, graduate of Cornell University, B.S. in Chemical Engineering, co-Founder of the
Mearl Corporation, Ossining, NY, a manufacturer of pearlescent and iridescent pigments used in paints and cosmetics and iridescent films for decorative packaging). Sylvia and
Henry had one daughter, Christina Linda born Dec. 3, 1953. Henry died in a car accident in 1961 and Sylvia died in 1976 at the age of 49 of liver cancer and is buried at the
Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, N.Y. Christina lives in London and has two
children Sandra and Edward Fischetti.

Blanca Mercedes HEUSCH Scott
Born in Barcelona, Spain on Sept. 24, 1937. Moved to New York in
1953 to finish high school. Married Alfred Irving Scott in 1956 in New York City. (Alfred was born in Hoboken N.J., Dec. 30, 1927, graduated Syracuse University 1956, served
in the WW II in Korea 1946-48, member of the Mayflower Society and Sons of the Revolution). They traveled throughout South America, Europe, and the northeastern United States
for business purposes. They had four children; Angelique, Melinda, Blanca and Alfred. Blanca remarried in 1975 to Dr. Francis Facciolo and lived in Briarcliff Manor.
N.Y. Blanca died at the age of 49 of lung cancer in 1986 while living in Tarrytown, N.Y. and is buried at the Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, N.Y. Alfred Scott
lives in Manhattan, N.Y.

Tarrytown, N.Y. Graduated Marist College 1980. Married John Tripi who has two children, Keith and Kimberly. Angelique currently lives in Ridgewood, N.J. and operates a small
business.

Melinda Anne Heusch SCOTT Guthoff
Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela on May 28, 1959. Graduated SUNY Albany University 1981. Married Alan Katzman 1985 and had two children Brianna Ilise born Nov.
5 1991 and Nicole Wendy born July 27 1993.
Melinda remarried in 2008 to David Howard Guthoff. In 1987, Melinda and her brother, Al, started a company, Glitterwrap, Inc. that
converted metalized and iridescent films for decorative use and sold to retailers and distributors throughout the U.S. The company expanded into gift wrap and party goods and operated
out of Rockaway, N.J. and Madisonville, KY. selling their products worldwide. The company was acquired by International Greetings in 2007, which is a public U.K. company. Melinda
currently resides in Old Tappan, N.J. with her husband David and two daughters, Brianna who is attending Univ. of MD, and Nicole who will be attending Univ. of WI next year.
